A Carlton Ware Lustre Pottery Walking Ware coffee pot and lid with green shoes and green striped socks, designed by Roger Michell for CarltonWare and Lustre Pottery.
Printed combined "Walking Cup" mark to the base of a foot for "Carlton Ware" and "Lustre" "England" (This was the second earliest mark used by Carlton Ware for the Walking Ware range. See Walking Ware a Collectors Guide by Julia Michell p.62 fig.9.)
Excellent condition with little or no crazing on body or lid.
