1930s Rocking Eggcup modelled as a Sailor Boy & Accordian (Sold)

This is a very scarce rocking eggcup modelled as a sailor boy playing the accordian. It is 1930s German and made for the English market.
Rocking eggcups from this period, or 'Rockers' as they are sometimes called, are (not surprisingly) very scarce and difficult to find, as are also the German whistle eggcups from this period.
(We also have a similar one without the accordian - see stock number 68.4)
Condition is good with no damage and just a little wear.
