Moorcroft Pig with an apple - based on a design by Wemyss, modelled by Roger Michell and decorated in colours by Sally Tuffin using the tube lining technique. View from top . View from front . An example was presented to the Queen Mother when she visited the Moorcroft factory in the 1980s. This was one of the prototypes (ex studio Roger Michell), and has a minor restoration (an ear has been reglued) - but in fairness this is barely detectable.Impressed mark to base - "MOORCROFT" and below -"Made in England.
