Commemorative Charles & Diana Cups - (Sold)

A pair of Carlton Ware / Lustre Pottery Walking Ware cups, commemorating the marriage of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer in 1981. They are decorated with horsehoes and bows. The overlapping opposed handles form a heart. This was an intentional feature of the design by Roger Michell. Legend on the backs of both reads "To commemorate the marriage of H. R. H. The Prince of Wales to Lady Diana Spencer at St. Paul's Cathedral 29th July 1981"
Printed combined mark to both bases for Carlton Ware and Lustre Pottery. Excellent condition.
