A Carlton Ware Walking Ware biscuit barrel / cookie jar and lid, designed by Roger Michell for Carlton Ware and Lustre Pottery in the 1970s. This was one of the larger pieces in the range, and quite scarce now.
Condition is good with no chips, cracks or damages. There is some moderate crazing on this example and this is typically found on this range.
Marked to base with an early backstamp of a walking cup surrounded by "LUSTRE CARLTONWARE ENGLAND".
