A Pair of Carlton Ware Walking Ware Adam and Eve Cups - (Sold)

A pair of Carlton Ware / Lustre Pottery Walking Ware Adam and Eve cups. These were amongst the "specials" designed by Roger Michell in the late 1970s early 1980s for the Walking Ware range, and are now quite scarce.
The Adam cup has a serpent handle and a fig leaf. The Eve cup, appropriately, has 3 fig leafs and a green apple (with a bite out of it). Both are modelled with bare feet and have pink behinds (see pic above).
Both also bear the semi-circular combined printed mark for Carlton Ware and Lustre Pottery to the base of one foot.
Condition is very good with no damage, little or no crazing and no wear to the decoration.
