Bavarian Childs Milk Jug with Dutch Pattern

Porcelain milk jug with hand painted design depicting children dressed in Dutch traditional costumes at play in a Dutch landscape (windmills on the horizon). Circa 1900 - 1914. Printed marks - the letters S & C & H between crossed swords within a shield device. German (Bavarian).

We note that a similar example was individually sold by Bloomsbury Auctions on the 27th February 2013 as part of a Beatrix Potter collection of china from the Mark Ottignon collection for £600 + commission.
