Paragon Tinker Tailor Series Saucer by Louis Wain (Sold)

A rare Paragon China "Tinker Tailor Series" saucer, introduced in 1918, designed by Louis Wain, entitled "The Clever Tinker". The plate is transfer printed and hand decorated in coloured enamels, and is illustrated with a cat polishing saucepans on a treadle lathe.
Condition is very good with no damages or restoration and with little or no wear (no wear at all to the upper foot-ring wher a cup would sit and usually scratch the illustration).
Marked to the base with the Paragon star mark and "PARAGON CHINA ENGLAND Tinker Tailor Series"
